In an effort to demonstrate our unity as one body of Christ, Church of God congregations around the world will join together on Sunday Evening, June 22, 2008 to celebrate the ordinance of Communion.
This observance coincides with the North American Convention of the Church of God being held in Anderson, IN.
Though churches around the globe cannot all be physically present at the Convention, technology allows some of them to be present viewing the service live via the internet. Other congregations will not be able to view the service, but will still participate in a service of communion at the same time as those in Anderson, IN.
The Laurel First Church of God is one congregation which will be both broadcasting the service and participating in the communion service. Believers who would like to join with this fellowship of brothers and sisters are invited to the service (7:00 p.m. edt in Anderson, 6:00 p.m. edt in Mississippi.)
Note: Other congregations who are planning to participate in some way with this event and would like to be added to this list can contact Duane Parker, MSchog.org webmaster.
